A Few Thoughts

I would like to express my deepest thanks to everyone who voted yesterday and worked for CHANGE. I have never been more proud to be an American and am looking at the future of our country with optimism. I am excited that for the first time in my children's lives they have a leader to be proud of and someone they can emulate. Nebraska is a Republican state and I think that for the first time EVER we split our electoral votes, giving one to Obama. Now, that's CHANGE! It can be difficult to live in a majority Republican community but last night was well worth the wait.

Election Night

We all know last night was the BIG night and we had a party to watch the results. We were thrilled to see Obama win big with the popular group and electoral group!!! Matt retained his seat on the school board but fluoride flopped. For those of you coming to the wedding this weekend, we are excited to get Kansas City and see you all.

Halloween 2008

Last night was the big night and considering we didn't have school it was one of the longest day's of the year. Anyway, everyone had a great time.

First Swimming Meet

Saylor and Tagg started the Swim team about a month ago. They are working really hard a learning how to swim different strokes and diving in. Halloween was a practice meet for the team to participate in, It was really fun and I got time swimmers. The last stroke for the meet the kids had to swim 4 laps, each a different stroke. I was amazed that nobody drowned.

Fall pictures

The kids have been on Fall break and we have had the most beautiful weather, 70 degrees and no wind. I took the opportunity to get a few shots.

what have we been doing?

yes, November 4th can't come soon enough. Matt is trying to keep his seat on the school board for 3 years. We are trying to get fluoride in the water and of course, we are hoping for Obama to be the next President!

Tagg's teeth or lack of....

Tagg is loosing teeth like crazy. Literally, we have lost teeth everywhere in the last few weeks.
