how we loose teeth
Saylor had 8 teeth taen out yesterday, Wed 26th. This was a necessary procedure as her adult teeth were ready to come up while the baby teeth were still in place. She did great and was very brave, I was a nervous wreck. We came to Breckenridge for Thanksgiving after the ordeal and spent today skiing.

Luke and Alex's Wedding
Luke and Alex had a fabulous wedding weekend for all us to share. The Albertson family was able to meet the Chaney family at different events, giving us the sense that we had gained a new family. I was really proud of Luke and Alex's planning because the entire weekend was nothing but fun! As I try to put into words the past weekend, it's hard to describe all the new friends that we made and the bonding with friends and family. Thank you to everyone who drove long distances and re-arranged schedules to make the time for the long weekend.
Here are a few pictures from the rehersal on Thursday night.

A Few Thoughts
I would like to express my deepest thanks to everyone who voted yesterday and worked for CHANGE. I have never been more proud to be an American and am looking at the future of our country with optimism. I am excited that for the first time in my children's lives they have a leader to be proud of and someone they can emulate. Nebraska is a Republican state and I think that for the first time EVER we split our electoral votes, giving one to Obama. Now, that's CHANGE! It can be difficult to live in a majority Republican community but last night was well worth the wait.
Election Night
We all know last night was the BIG night and we had a party to watch the results. We were thrilled to see Obama win big with the popular group and electoral group!!! Matt retained his seat on the school board but fluoride flopped. For those of you coming to the wedding this weekend, we are excited to get Kansas City and see you all.

Halloween 2008
First Swimming Meet
Saylor and Tagg started the Swim team about a month ago. They are working really hard a learning how to swim different strokes and diving in. Halloween was a practice meet for the team to participate in, It was really fun and I got time swimmers. The last stroke for the meet the kids had to swim 4 laps, each a different stroke. I was amazed that nobody drowned.
